Ventilation must be provided at the top of the
column by the installing contractor. Continuous air circulation
up through the column is an absolute necessity. All warranty claims
will be voided if columns are not properly ventilated. To figure
the minimum total opening required at the top and bottom of the
column, divide the bottom shaft diameter by two. This will give
you the minimum square inches required top and bottom. For example,
an eight (8) inch bottom diameter column would require four (4)
square inches of ventilation at both the top and the bottom. At

of venting. Any other method is not acceptable and would void
the warranty. |
